We're seeking an experienced Odds Compiler to create competitive pricing for our sportsbook. You'll use statistical models, historical data, and market intelligence to compile accurate odds that balance player appeal with profitability.
This role requires strong mathematical skills, sports knowledge, and the ability to analyze complex data to create market-leading odds.
Responsibilities
- Compile odds for pre-match and in-play sporting events
- Analyze historical data and performance statistics
- Monitor competitor pricing and market movements
- Create statistical models for odds compilation
- Adjust odds based on betting volume and liability
- Research team news, injuries, and form factors
- Develop pricing strategies for different markets
- Ensure competitive and profitable pricing
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in odds compilation or trading
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills
- Deep knowledge of multiple sports and leagues
- Experience with odds compilation software and tools
- Understanding of probability theory and betting margins
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Sports Science preferred
